Chris Banres or CorpseGrinder?

So the title pretty much explains the thread lol. Just want to see if we can get a debate going that, is common among Corpse fans.
I personally love them both, two of my favourite albums are by each. Tomb and Kill.
I will throw more of my opinion in as soon as we get some others commenting.

Why do you guys like Corpse more?

Just like the sound of his vocals more. I can't explain it any other way

I find me liking him more because he is more melodic. Don't get me wrong Barnes vocals are amazing, due to them being so brutal. But Corpse can be brutal and go at a faster pace I find. He just has more range.

That would be the way to explain it that I couldn't quite get at the moment xD Range is always a good thing, no matter what genre you're listening to. If your vocals are flat, people will get tired of them fast

But I'm sure a hardcore Barnes fan would have good reasons for him being better. I'm a Corpsegrinder nut huger though

Hmm. It depends what style I'm looking for. If I want the more technical, 'happy' sounding CC, I'd go with Barnes, the music had a way better sound, when he was on board, I find, like, the guitars flowed a bit better, drums were faster, etc.

But CorpseGrinder is a way better screamer, definitely.

Lol, 100% for Corpsegrinder. Whereas I like Barnes's sound more, he only has one sound lol. No talent, just a voice. He was kicked out of CC for a reason. Cause he's a douche lol. And also, Six Feet Under is NOT good. haha.

Barnes, actually has a lot more range now, that he's with Six Feet Under. They aren't great, but they have a few songs that I'm in love with. BUt I see we have a Barnes vote. *awaits him/her to vote*

I don't think anyone disrespect Barnes, just likes Corpse vocals more. Due to his range.

Barnes had range, I like his high screams a lot, maybe more that George's.

Honestly, Barnes range is no where's as close as corpses.

See, the way I see it is, Barnes goes either super low, or super high. Which is great. But, then again, Corpse goes low high, everything in between.

I just like the rasp of Barnes better.

Barnes is still good though, Corpsegrinder just seems alot better, Barnes just seems like angry growling (Good BTW) but Corpsegrinder sounds like he's actually playing a song, not doing his own thing with a bunch of instruments in the background.

Good points, Kakko. But I'm sure we all agree Barnes had the best lyrics by far.
