Ok Movie viewers. Good news and bad news. Bad news is I didn't watch either movie I said I would. Sorry, something else caught my attention, and it's called "The Thirst." All I can say is One of a kind movie. Watch Twilight, and if you hate it, Watch The Thirst. It's the complete opposite. Typical Vampire story, blood suckers and whatnot, mixed in with a love story. It starts with (Spoiler) This couple who are both in A.A. They both have substance abuse problems but the guy, Maxx (Matt Keeslar: Stephen King's Rose Red) has been clean for sometime now, but his girlfriend, Lisa (Clare Kramer: Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Is more on drugs now then ever. Later he discovers she's dying of cancer, and she was keeping it from him. When he finds out he bails. Comes back the night after and finds her in a bathtub of blood with her wrists slit. He sinks into depression until one night his friends force him to go out with them to a retarded club. Ok it wasn't retarded but it seemed like it to me. When he get's there he run's into none other than Lisa. No one believes him but it's definitely her. Make a long story short he eventually gets turned. Ok that's all I'm saying about it. Want more, watch it. The best part of this movie is the fact that they relate the blood drinking to drug abuse. It's never been done before, and if it has it never caught my attention.
