Iron Maiden - "The Final Fronteir"

As many of you know, I am not a huge Maiden fan. But I know a lot of you are hence why this thread is being posted. Anyone else know about this album besides me? It drops August 16th. I personally think Iron Maiden need to hang up the gloves and stop releasing albums. They've gone on far too long. But my opinion will be overshadowed by the Maiden fanboys

Okay, you would be correct in telling them to quit if they've sucked the past few years.. But they haven't.

They still rock the hell out.

Brave new world was an amazing album, so they haven't sucked that much. But they have been a let down. I love the album work though. looks pretty sick.

I think Maiden has still been amazing, Brave New World was one of my favorite albums by them, I know you don't like Maiden though.

He does not like their music, and their hype. But he respects them.

I hered the new single from the new album and fucking hated it , i seriously couldn't listen to the whole thing. i love Maiden but i truely dislike this new song.

I liked A Matter of Life and Death better for some reason, I dunno, I just got into it more.

Although BNW was an absolute masterpiece in itself.

I can understand how their older stuff can be considered masterpieces. They were groundbreaking at the time. But i don't understand how the newer ones could be called that cause it's just the same old shit they've been pumping out for 35 years

It's definitely different. Well, not ground-breaking different, but, it's so much the same that it's boring. The fact that this band is still pumping out 7 minute epics is awesome.

It's not the same shit, don't you compare Maidens new stuff to older stuff. Thats an insult. BNW was good, nothing to their old stuff. Two completely different sounds.

I don't like how Eddie looks on the new cover as much. El Dorado was ok, nothing OMG about it. Hoping for some better songs from the rest of the album.
